That I have wronged someone here.....
I wasn't aware I did it.... But that doesn't mean it didn't happen....
Wrong intentions and mistaken intent sometimes happen. It is the way of the world.
From what was said to me I think the brevity and to-the-point nature of my online communications are at fault.
That I am afraid is how I communicate and if there was any unpleasantness do to that part of my nature then I am truly sorry.
I will not mention the person that this is meant for.... When the time is right I am sure he will respond and we hopefully can iron out these wrtinkles together.
Marc.
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Marc,
I am not prone to a public response regarding what I consider personal tirades, bias, or other forms of postings that incite “flame” wars. This has been a firm personal policy of mine for many years. However, as you chose to trivialize and quite frankly slam my post with such negative and caustic commentary, I am compelled to respond.
First of all, I rarely if ever make recommendations to the public at large unless I honestly feel that the subject matter is noteworthy enough, or of supreme significance and may benefit to the greater Gay & Lesbian online community.
Second, I have no knowledge of your history, but, I can tell you that I have been around since the earliest days of the Internet, long before the creation of the world wide web. I have worked hard and long to foster and nurture the development of web sites, forums, community boards, and author's sites for the betterment of the Gay & Lesbian community as a whole. I normally do this quietly and behind the scenes as is my nature. Rarely do I step out into the spotlight as it were. I can tell you with absolute certainty, it has taken considerable efforts by many individuals to create the opportunity for ALL generations of Gays and Lesbians to enjoy a sense of community and culture that is unique to their gender bias. To have places where there is no need to hide, be ashamed of who they are, et cetera. What I find seriously offensive, is commentary by individuals such as yourself that for the most part is negative and degenerates those efforts.
Which brings me to my post. That post was an effort on my part to inform and advise that; “in my opinion,” I had found a story that was compelling and an enjoyable and compared favorably with young Jamie's efforts and his writing.
You labeled it porn. Porn? Marc, if such were the case, then by your standards, virtually none of the combined total of all sites would pass the muster. You would have us all believing that all of this hard work by these amateur authors was porn pure and simple. And then, I was galled to find out you dismissed these works out of hand, and in Christopher's case, BEFORE you had read the series.
Oh and yes, I will most definitely defend Jamie. Unlike you, I know him very well, and with absolute authority can tell you that he is decent, kind, and loving young man whose talents far outstrip his actual age. It also appears that you have never figured out the theme that he writes into virtually all of his work. This tells me, you have missed the point altogether.
I am very disappointed with the tenor of your posts. I would ask that if a post or thread commences that offends your sensibilities, then possibly, maybe you should consider refraining from responding.
An observation could be made here that you have reacted badly and need to revisit your reasoning some as to the motivation for such negativity.
To be perfectly honest, I am desirous of an apology from you as well in these matters since I was the author of the thread to begin with.
In closing, Marc, please rein it in some? Not everything in life needs to be turned into a debate or a pissing contest.

In which case, Marc, I would imagine that there are several people on this Message Board who think that you are adressing them. Food for thought.
The paradox has often been noted that the United States, founded in secularism, is now the most religiose country in Christendom, while England, with an established church headed by its constitutional monarch, is among the least. (Richard Dawkins, 2006)

I simply thank you for the post. I promise to do my best to ensure that the correct person reads it. I know it was made with true generosity of spirit.
JFR's point is well made, too. Perhaps those who feel this is directed at them would make themselves known quietly to Marc and sort out whatever needs to be sorted out by email, please.
