As an irregular lurker, I wasn't sure who had already been in the spotlight, so I have had to review all of the previous posts. For the record, I've stuck to a single forename except where the full name or initials are commonly used (eg Auden, Keynes) and have shown only the spheres in which each had significant involvement - one stage appearance doesn't qualify for listing as a theatrical actor.
I can't trace a birth year for Eric Brouman, nor can I establish what the 'T' in Russell T. Davies (creator of Queer as Folk) stands for. If you can fill these blanks or correct any errors, please respond to the post.
Any views on whether the final list would be a useful addition to the site?
If Timmy is interested, I'd be willing to provide three-line mini biographies identifying their various claims to fame.
Oh, and this has taken so long that you'll have to wait another day for the next Famous Gay!
L'Ecossais Pensif.
PS - In each case the smileys should read '8/close bracket/semicolon. I don't know why they appeared automatically and I can't figure out how to suppress the little varmints. All advice welcome!
For a' that an' a' that,
It's comin' yet for a' that,
That man tae man, the worrld o'er
Shall brithers be, for a' that.
