Turn on your ICQ. Now. Please!
There's nobody to chat to and I'm bored out of my skull refreshing the forum every minute! (wow... I never realised I had got that bad...)

I don't dare to read any of the Composer's stuff anymore. He writes excellent stories, but I think they're often so depressing!

If you tell me it's okay, I'll gladly look at it... Smile

Sounds dark and suspense-driven.
Where can I find it?

I could go into the moral issues jack stirs up but that would spoil my enjoyment of that story!
I totally would have left the room- I wouldn't have been able to look Jack in the face afterwards and not get edgey
The environment is the same as it is at my school, except without the Lower 6th making moves on prefects. I know it well, and I completely understand the kind of questions the story brings out because most of them I've asked myself time and again.
'Jack' is a very good story IMHO, not least because it leaves you thinking at the end but because you end up wrestling with your conscience to some degree. It's not just a quick flick.
Much respec' to the author!
