Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

I never knew Sammy except for what he posted here from time to time. He sounded like a very positive, intelligent and gentle young man. It is a tragedy that his life had to end so soon. Sincerest condolances to all those mourning his passing.

Condolences to Sammy's family and friends with the sadness, sympathy and the gratitude of one who has been helped and allowed to beat cancer.

It is always sad to see a young person taken down in their prime. I did not know sammy but i am sure he was a spectacular person. I am sending my deepest sympanthy and prayers to his friends and family. The world is a darker place now that another brite light is gone...

In Loving Memory of Sammy Frost, 1989 - 2005

Rest in Peace my friend, my brother, my love. i never got the chance to truely say goodbye to you, i know now the letter i sent could never have reached you, but you will never be forgotten

i will love you and miss you, always
aden

lay down,
your sweet and weary head.
light is falling,
you have come to journey's end.
sleep now,
dream of the ones who came before,
they are calling,
from across a distant shore.

why do you weep, all of these tears upon your face?
soon you will see, all of your fears will pass away
safe in my arms, you're only sleeping

what can you see, on the horizon?
why do the white gulls call?
across the sea, a pale moon rises
the ships have come, to carry you home

and all will turn to silver glass
a light on the water, all souls pass

hope fades,
into the world of night
through shadows falling,
out of memory and time
don't say
we have come now to the end
white shores are calling
you and i will meet again
and you'll be here in my arms
just sleeping

what can you see, on the horizon?
why do the white gulls call?
across the sea, a pale moon rises
the ships have come to carry you home.

and all will turn, to silver glass
a light on the water, grey ships pass
into the west

Oh dear, another young life taken from us. I used to read Sammy's posts and thought that for such a young man he often saw a point that some of us older ones missed. It sometimes brought a wry smile.
Oh that we could still hug you for real little tyger.

Sadly too he was not the only one. A short while a go another young lad, Billy16 who was known to some of us at JeffsFort passed away. I contacted Tim in case he had made contact here. I'd let him know about Sammy you see. I didn't post at the time, because I didn't want to distress Sammy.
Billy had a similar problem too. Aplastic Anaemia or some such medical term. And he had this condition that made any bone marrow transplant attack his his immune system. I'm not sure of the exact details.

Like Sammy, Billy was an inspiration to many of his peers. We shall miss both of them. It seems such a waste, and learning of Sammy today has made it somehow worse. I hope one day I shall finally meet them. It would be a comfort to think so.

Sammy....I weep.

I only knew of him for a very short time but he touched my life in a very profound way. I would surmise that his short life had greater affect on more people than mamy of us will ever have in a lifetime.

He will truly be missed.

To his family and friends---I weep with you.

John
