I just wanted to express my appreciation of Deeej's pungent and entirely pertinent contribution to this thread.

Recent research at my local university has established that propulsion of an over-ripe strawberry into the left nostril of a subject will, in a significant proportion of cases, deflect the subject from the topic which he was previously addressing.

Volunteers are currently being sought as guinea-pigs in further research to establish whether the angle of deflection is increased if the strawberry is propelled into the anus. Any takers?

On balance I feel a strawberry is too large for a guinea pig's anus wiithout causing damage. There is the idea that you could use a rat and get the strawberry rat-arsed.

An on-topic post for an off-topic thread, even if it is an off-topic post for an otherwise on-topic forum.

It's amusing if you happen to be a Kubrick fan (like me). (You may not get the joke if you haven't seen the film. In the unlikely event that that is the case, order the complete works of Stanley Kubrick immediately from your friendly local internet DVD retailer and scrutinise them intimately prior to interrogating the link.)

P.S. Americans will need to order the Region 2 DVD of "Eyes Wide Shut" from the United Kingdom as the Motion Picture Association of America has deemed the artistic display of female mammary glands unacceptable for persons of a sensitive disposition, who may be irretrievably spurred into psychosis by an unexpected reminder of their existence.

... surely anyone with a modicum of intelligence would realise that in the arctic climate of North-East England we can only grow very small strawberries. We are, however, extremely accomplished in the practice of becoming rat-arsed. ;-D

Bit quiet today, isn't it?

How about another famous gay, JFR?

I can think of lots that we haven't had... though maybe that's because they are too well known.

Firstly Deeej did end his sentance "Can anyone understand morse code?" with a question mark, and secondly just for the other people who can't read morse code, JFR replied "U 4get 2 end with a Question mark (or "?" sign)" Which Deeej actually did do. Lastly, morse code, although fun, is kinda depressing to me.

P.S: JFR the A (".--"), just before the query mark ("..--..") should be, just ".-" , i think.

P.P.S: I'm just helping, and not trying to be rude, as it may well seem to people who don't know me personally. I apologise, and this is not my intents.

Hugs, love and kisses where its apropriet

Hmm, I realise that the post above was for Deeej, and that you didn't know that he knew that you knew what you didn't know you knew he knew you knew - und so weiter - ad nauseam - n'est-ce pas? - but it's all a bit teejus, y'know. (Btw, did you know you knew and did he know you knew he knew you knew? And, if so, when? Please answer in no more than 200 words and do not in any circumstance write on both sides of the paper simultaneously.

Does anyone know semaphore? At least then we could have pics of cute boys waving flags!

Hmmm...it IS rather cute when those young sailors wave the flags Razz hysterically, but the radio has spoilt us homo sapiens; we dont have those boys waving flags like they did in the 16, 17 and 18'th centuary any more:-* ::-) Sad. Perhaps we should get some photos to enrich and entice our memoirs?
