Famous and gay. Surprising in so many ways and yet not. An actor.

It seems we need a clue. That is always hard without giving it away. I can do loads of clues to make it easy, but I want to keep it challenging for a while.

He is best known for a TV role where his performance was out of this world

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

I think he spells his name subtly differently, but Mr Sulu it is. Came out in October 2005 much to everyone's surprise, and in an 18 year committed relationship with his partner.

I thought the famous gay had to be deceased. I don't know why i thought that however.

Originally, yes. But I think the rules have been expanded to allow "out" gay people who are still alive. Only people who have admitted to being gay or bisexual, though, so it's not controversial.

Those who are formally "out" by their own words are "in play" Smile
