Very English, but not an archetypal Englishman.

Morrissy ?
It's always the old to lead us to the war
It's always the young to fall
Now look at all we've won with the sabre and the gun
Tell me is it worth it all

Does morrissey, either with the Smiths or on his own, have any songs that have any gay theme to them really ? I was trying to think of any but I seemed to come up blank.

I see gay implications at http://www.lyricsfreak.com/m/morrissey/
He appears to be able not to worry about the actual gender in his songs, but there is a hint of polari (wikipedia) in an album title.
