you visited this place????
I went back to the guessbook and found a post i made just after i finished reading Chris and Nigel.
"Saturday, December 21st 2002 - 06:22:26 AM"
(while i cannot pinpoint the exact day, now i know it was around the month of december )
I remember i found this site by accident. The stories caught my attention and i kept coming back every time. I remember i would read them whenever time, either , before i went to school , afterschool , or late at night.
Thank you Timmy.

That is exactly what I created it for and megaman and I worked towards. A site where people coudl feel, if they want to, that they belong. Somewhere where all are welcome but no-one is made to feel different.
if you use the seach facility on the board you can even find your oldest post

I don't remember specifically the first time I visited this site. I've know about it for years, though. I'm fairly sure I remember reading Chris and Nigel when I was 16 or possibly just 17 -- because we moved studies each term at school, I can remember which study it was that I was in at the time -- so it must have been early 2001. (I'm sure Timmy'll tell me if that was technically impossible.)
I've just found my first ever post on this board (I think) which was from 11 April 2003 ("a random person"), but don't read it as it's embarrassing. (Cue everyone going to look for it. ) The two year gap is because it took me a long time (a) to revisit the site, (b) to notice that it had a messageboard, and (c) to find the courage to post (which, I'm afraid to say, fizzled up pretty quickly). Thinking back to that time, early April 2003 was probably the blackest and unhappiest time of my life so far. Then there was another long gap until I suddenly realised I knew (or at least knew of) Timmy (what are the odds of that happening?), talked to him, and felt comfortable enough to post regularly.
In early 2001 I was still terrified of my sexuality. By mid-2002 I was happy enough to talk to friends about it (and even sort of came out to some of them). It was sites like this that made that easier.

I don't remember the date when I first got the nerve to e-mail Tim about C&N or when I first worked up the nerve to post. I can only reference from the first chapter of JHS, September 16, 2002. He said I had a story I needed to tell...
guess I did.
I do remember telling Tim in that e-mail about C&N that we call them washrags over here, not flannels. Haha! I had quite a way with words even back then. )
Good to see you!

Josie was the first poster here......
Made it just a second or so before me......
whatever......
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

It was WAY back when one day there was no board and then the next day there was.

I seem to rememebr agomising for ages about whether there was room for yet another board. It seems there was. This one took about 6 months to get going, of course.
