I dream of boys with big bulges in their trousers,
Never of girls with big bulges in their blouses.
…and look forward to meeting you in Cóito.

Finally! Someone I can recognise (though I'm not quite sure why as I don't think I've seen very much of his work, lamentably).

He doesn't look terribly young there, though. This one would be young:

From Wikipedia:
> Throughout his career, Howerd hid his potentially career-destroying homosexuality (which had been illegal in Britain until 1967)
I don't want to sidetrack the thread, but can someone confirm whether it was any implied homosexuality or just gay sex that was illegal until 1967? I was under the impression that simply being gay was not an offence. Is it a technical error in the article? Or am I being too pedantic over the definition of homosexuality? (To clarify, I am perhaps the only person in existence who is gay without actually feeling any desire for sex.)

... it was the sex act which was illegal, not the orientation - but being known to be homosexual could (and not infrequently did) destroy your career.
Not, of course that I was concerned at the time; I'm just interested in history. Honestly!

…Listen to Francis.
It is indeed Frankie Howerd. This pic may not be a particularly young one, but compared with the ones I rejected…
Over to you, Deeej, to 'Carry On'.
Hugs
