This chap is incredibly well-known, especially in the UK.

As he is so recognisable, I thought I would try and find the most unflattering picture I could.

It has Stephen Fry's chin. But I thought we'd had him.

"It"?

Mm, it's Stephen Fry. But no, I'm fairly sure we haven't had him, unless there's a problem with:

i. my memory
ii. JFR's latest list of ex-famous gays ... er, famous ex-gays ... no, ex-participants of the game

Incidentally, the picture is a screen capture from "Blackadder Back and Forth", which was a one-off 40 minute short film shot in 1999 to be shown in the Millenium Dome (ugh). There was some sort of joke going on over the length of Roman soldiers' skirts. The film was a spin-off from the Blackadder series of series, one of the best traditional British situation comedies.

Stephen Fry is a sort of intellectual figure-head within Britain. He's also an actor, author, comedian (wit) and one-time film director. However, he is not a scientist.

His books are amusing but not especially profound pieces of fluff. I enjoyed his description of growing up gay in a British public school in his autobiography ("Moab is my Washpot"). His novels are full of bizarre characters and perversions.
