Any day you actually have hair is a good hair day.
That's a hint by the way.

The paradox has often been noted that the United States, founded in secularism, is now the most religiose country in Christendom, while England, with an established church headed by its constitutional monarch, is among the least. (Richard Dawkins, 2006)

For those of us (yes, I know, I'm incredibly ignorant, but when I do occasionally listen to rock music I tend to stick to British stuff) who didn't know who Michael Stipe was, perhaps someone could post a brief summary of who he is and what he does?
I've looked him up now and know now... he is the founding member of R.E.M., an American rock group.

... we'll just deploy a couple of battalions of the Queen's Own Welly Hoyers and the SAS trouser-ferret combat unit; that'll see off any threat to English Cricket for the next couple of decades - or until the end of the current game, whichever comes later!

... putting ferrets down one's trousers is genuinely one of our quaint and curious British customs, though admittedly not a lot of people indulge these days! (And before you ask, I DEFINITELY don't indulge!) But let's face it, an SAS unit trained in the finer points of technique would have no problem dealing with an American Brat on a bad hair day!

... the Monty Python lumberjacks were much too gay to cope with ferrets. As regards the commander with a tutu, he's new to me but he sounds interesting! Tell me more!

Oh Cossie, Monty Pythons flying circus had a skit with a british Army commander (dont remember the exact rank)that would stand behind a desk and you would see the hat and military coat. when he stepped out from behind the desk with his ridding crop he had on a tutu.
