Put your own words to this pic.

I dream of boys with big bulges in their trousers,
Never of girls with big bulges in their blouses.

…and look forward to meeting you in Cóito.

I told you that you wouldn't believe it.....

Now show me yours.......

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Sorry, Cossie, I speak out of sheer ignorance. But that's the way it is when not even my half-scottish son-in-law is willing to serve me haggis. Is it that bad?

And this is my 500th! w00t!

That is frightening, actually. It was my 400th less than 2 weeks ago.

At this rate, it'll take me only 14 months to get to Timmy's level...

Of course, the reason I've posted so many is that I keep making useless posts like this one.

... is nothing to apologise for; I've been doing it all my life!

The reference to American Pie was to the film of that name, which was essentially about the efforts of a group of US teens to lose their virginity. In one notorious scene, one of the group was caught having simulated sex with a fruit pie, having been assured that the sensation would be very like the real thing. I was just trying to point out that putting a haggis down one's trousers was unlikely to achieve the same effect!

Don't tell anyone I said so, but your son-in-law is very wise to keep haggis off the menu; it's really pretty awful! No doubt in earlier times, when poor families could not afford to let any potential food source go to waste, it was an effective way to utilise the less-appetising bits of a sheep, but it's not something I'd eat by choice - I have too much affection for my digestive system! However, masochism is a well-known element of the Scottish character, and we tend to force ourselves to consume haggis on Burns' Night (25 January). I find that I can cope, but only if lubricated by a vast amount of whisky!

... it's high time you started going for quantity in each post, rather than quality. I always do! If you spout rubbish in sufficient volume, it confuses the reader into believing that you know what you are talking about!
