Probably my favourite lesbian! A British actress, she works and has homes in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the USA. She is well know for her appearance on stage, in film, and on TV, but also makes a significant income from audio books, and TV voiceovers in the UK, where her incredibly seductive and versatile voice has made her the unseen star of many commercials.

Was she in the Harry Potter movies?

She was certainly in one of them, but I think only one.

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Indeed it is - Miriam Margolyes.
In the UK, her voice is well known as the voice of the bunny in the Cadbury's Caramel TV ads ... internationally, as a voice she was Fly the Female Sheepdog in "Babe", and may be best known visually as Professor Sprout in "Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets".
She is a really happy and "Out" lesbian, much given to good-humoured ribaldry. I was lucky enough to work with her a couple of times in the 1980's, and she was definitely someone who helped me understand how to be out, proud, assertive, but hopefully not offensive or agressive.
