I do not (yet) have a picture of this man who was a very much admired US man who died untimely young.
He was a medic, and a missionary. There is a song that either shares his name or shares a name that sounds like his based on a hanged murderer of a century beforehand. The song has been viewed as a way of lauding him with priase - odd because he was not a hanged murderer!
He seems to be referred to as a potential saint, though iot seems odd that his faith would make a saint out of a gay man
He failed his degree, even after four years of study, and his university. His life and work is associated witha Laos.
