I came across this comic this morning and I thought people here would enjoy it.

The site, toothpastefordinner.com features comics that are updated daily. I find that I have become addicted to this site and it has made my list of "sites I compulsively check daily".

Greetings

Thanks for asking. I prefer ales, lagers take too long, but I usually have one of each on tap at all times. Favorite ale is an ESB (extra special bitter) but I do stouts and porters often. Not much of a fan of Belgium ales.

Lagers (the spell checker isn't gonna help me with this one) Pilsner Urquel
(Deej, did I come close?)

Lived in Tilbury during the 'Real Ale' revolution of the late sixties/early seventies, and brought a taste for good bear home with me. Took until the early nineties before I stumbled into the home brew hobby. If I knew how to send pictures - the taps are designed into a beerback in a corner of my normal sized kitchen (see other posts)

Regards
Simon

Out of interest, why not?

I'm don't mean to be confrontational here -- as a matter of fact, I can't stand cricket either, but that's because I've played it and watched it, and am very poor at the former and far too impatient for the latter. On the other hand, I appreciate that it's our national sport and will support our national team.

I would be tempted to say (for example), that I can't stand baseball, simply because none of the teams or matches interest me (unsurprising, given that it's an American sport) -- but I don't feel I can bash something I'm not really familiar with. Also, I did play a version of it when I was much younger and found it quite fun, if unremarkable. (Rounders is better.)

If all else fails, Google it!

I put "Pilsner Urquel" into Google -- with no idea if it was spelt right or not; I'd never heard of it -- and it asked me "Did you mean: Pilsner Urquell". Which seems to be right.

No firm understanding of the rules, and thought it took too bloody long. Use to think that baseball was long, but TV has put a time limit on a game that is played without a clock. How many other modern games can make that claim?
