Why is it that certain medicines have to tast so terribly bad? I have amemia and I have to take a shot three times a week and get an iron infusion about once a month depending on what the blood test show. the shots dont bother me. But I have to take a special vitamin, cause of some stuff my kidneys dont do, and it is, undoubtedly, the most awful, gross and discusting tasting thing in the world. They can make flinstones tast good but not this one.

Hey Whip
An age old question. As Mary Poppins was heard to sing, "A shot of Burbon helps..."

... your meds might taste of Southern Fried Chicken!
Seriously, though, I'm sorry the stuff is so repulsive - a bit surprised, too, as most of the yukky stuff I took earlier in life has had a makeover in recent years to make it taste a bit less awful. I think you should take this up with your Congressman - unless, of course, he's a Republican!
For a' that an' a' that,
It's comin' yet for a' that,
That man tae man, the worrld o'er
Shall brithers be, for a' that.
