... but this seems, in of itself, to be just a tad bizarre.

Side note: I'd have, and tired to, post this the day before yesterday; but the Forum (and in fact the entire web-site) seemed to have been off-line for well over 24-hours - is that correct Timmy, or was it something at my end?

I wonder why he so sure that it is us, and not say.. adulterers? (Or any other kind of "sinner")
Dog barks, caravan moves, as we say in Russia.

He is a nut case - but no less dangerous for that. He is under intense heat because of something illegal (and immoral) which his son did in USA. That probably explains why he is lashing out at this time. He is always hitting on gays - I once bothered to confront him in a newspaper, but now it just isn't worth the bother, believe me.
The report to which Warren directed our attention is correct in the substantive issue (FWIW) but innaccurate on side issues:
Israel is electing a parliament, not a government;
Meretz is not the only party (thank God) that promotes same-sex marriage: There are FOUR other parties who also have "gay rights" prominent on their platform. Most importantly, one of them is the party most likely to win the election. But I am not optimistic, because with an electoral system that makes a coalition government inevitable it is quite possible (though not necessarily so) that ultra-religious parties may be in the next government.
And now you know more that you ever wanted to know about this ...
The paradox has often been noted that the United States, founded in secularism, is now the most religiose country in Christendom, while England, with an established church headed by its constitutional monarch, is among the least. (Richard Dawkins, 2006)

... I think that the outbreak of bird flu in Israel is an inevitable consequence of allowing that shellfish stall on the beach at Jaffa!
For a' that an' a' that,

Poor deluded bigot that he is!
"Even animals do not behave this way...."
So, not only a bigot, but unobservant, too. Has he never watched dogs hump other male dogs?
Ah, no. He would have averted his eyes!
