Where did you see it?

TV?

Online?

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

... and you can find out more about them at http://www.libera.org.uk - btw. they are Libera, not Librea.

"Twilight" is on their first album - 'Free'. You can find a full track listing on the above site. Cute as well as talented, aren't they?

(self-titled) Libera, Luminosa, Free, and their latest is Visions. They are absolutely fabulous but then I am slightly prejudiced (see earlier thread on treble voices).

They look better without those bizarre "hoodie" robes, I think. It makes them look like something out of Eyes Wide Shut, not like a choir at all. Especially when they are decked out with candles and wreathed in smoke.

Ahem, not that the analogy goes any further.

There seems to be quite a collection of their videos freely available on YouTube -- just search for "Libera", or go to:

not sure if its still available, but amazon used to do a libera boxset of the first 2 of their albums (Libera and Luminosa) at a cheaper price than a standard CD... this was before Free and Visions were released though...

if you're cashed strapped, i'd recommend either Libera or Free as the best, Luminosa being more traditional choir music mostly, and Visions, being, quite frankly, boring, especially with most of the songs being new versions of older releases.

also, if interested, look for the albums Angel Voices (1 2 and 3) by the same choir/choirmaster (St Philips Boys Choir), before they officially grouped as Libera. though, of course, the current composition of the choir is different than it was when they released Libera, and different again from Voices of Angels, one of the reasons they can get away with re-releasing.
