The passionate colour of your eyes,
the moist breathe escaping your lips, calling me...
So provacative, so imaginary,
I can feel your hands running all over my body, feeling me freely, memorizing every curve in my skin..
It is nice, knowing that you are here,
knowing that you care about me, when I didnt believe I could feel this way about you..
Please kiss me, so I can remember this moment for a little while longer...

This poem was written by me. I hope you all like it^_^

Josh,

>^_^*blush* im glad you liked it^^ i like writing^_^ its sort of a passion of mine. lol.

Most of the people round here seem to enjoy writing: it's one of the things that makes them worth talking to on a messageboard, I always think. It means they can get their thoughts in order, and they can put up with the time it takes to write things down for the reward of having written it, and getting responses from other people. Quite a few of the published stories on this site were written by regulars on this board, incidentally. Not me, though.

What sort of things do you like to write?

I enjoy writing long, tortuous responses to posts round here (sort of); and I enjoy writing for film (scripts, treatments and things like that). Not usually gay or love stories, though -- that part of life's a closed book to me!

At the moment I'm writing a huge long assessed essay (5000 words) on the Bulger killings and why they were (or weren't) affected by television violence. God knows why I then come and write long replies on here as a way of relaxing -- half the time, it drives me up the wall! -- but I do. Madness!

Best wishes,

David

Josh,

>I also write poems. I like doing that, beucase for me, its easy..

I wish I could write poems! As any of the regulars around here will tell you, I've a maddeningly literal mind. Normally, when I'm writing, I use the most precise word I can think of, rather than those that are potentially more potent or evocative.

It seems to work best when I'm writing analytical essays -- my apologies if I seem to be writing right now! Most of the dialogue in my scripts is very dry and to-the-point. Personally, I like that -- I dislike the "soap opera" style of modern drama of saying everything half a dozen times in case the audience didn't catch it the first time. Or, worse, saying something that really didn't need to be said because it fills up screen time. I can imagine others mightn't.

Great poetry is neither redundant nor unnecessarily terse.

>cute is my word

Cute is also your style. Smile

YAY^_^(l) I feel cute *blushes* yes, I blush easily. lol.

I like poetry that I can relate to. I think thats the best kind. Where you can say that you've gone thru something similar. Thats why I like writing so much, beucase it makes me happy, and it makes others happy^_^
