There is a vortex in dryers..... A black hole so to speak that sucks in all underwear turned right side out and spits them out the other side in an inverted posture.

Just imaging what would happen if you were wearing them while they were sucked into the black hole....

It could be devistating.... Or incredibly pleasurable.... I'm not sure which!

Not only does the black hole in our washing machine turn the underwear inside out, it fundamentally changes the way it responds to light.

White clothes turn blue... blue clothes turn grey... grey clothes turn pink... pink clothes turn white.

Evidently the laws of physics as we know them break down within that mysterious particle accelerator known as a washing machine.

Sounds like scope for a Douglas Adams monologue.

I know some guys on line who say they dont wear underware. The first thing that pops in my mind is Whore. They do it cause they can get nakid faster, turn their trick and get to the next one. It means they want it to be quick and fast so they can leave. If that isnt being a whore I dont know what is. Not to mention that it has the appearance of being unsanitary.

If it is clean, an extra layer of cotton hardly makes a difference. I was thinking fashion statement - not sexual. Do you have the same reaction to a girl going bra-less?

I'd agree with that - if I have the kind of day when I have a shower and get changed for the evening (like I used to every weekday when I was still working: nowadays its usually just if I've been doing something messy like gardening or decorating) I very rarely bother with anything under my Levis. Its about comfort more than anything else - jeans that fit tight don't need anything extra under them.

For me, going commando is certainly not about being ready for sex: my last LTR of a dozen years was physically affectionate but didn't involve sex, and I've only recently felt ready to even think seriously about starting dating again ... it's well over a decade (though less than two decades) since I last had sex! Oh, I've had offers (a few), but one-nighters just aren't my thing.

As for being a whore, well, I've paid for sex once, and been paid for it once - both of these were in my experimental phase as a teen over thirty years ago. Having tried it both ways, I know it isn't for me ... no regrets, but no desire to repeat either experience!

Well, most often it is a matter of economics rather than whoring out for a nights fun.

And......... It's only unsanitary if you do not wash your jeans....

I always found the discovery that a partner wasn't wearing underwear was a serious turn-off.

To me, satisfying sex was always the culmination of a prolonged period of romantic intimacy. I WANTED to undress my partner item by item, and underwear was the most erotic item of all. There is something extra-special about sliding a hand under the elastic and exploring the treasures within.

And it IS more hygenic unless you wash your jeans daily!

To me, not as much as a turn-off as some kinds of underwear! I'm thinking of one set in particular ... a well-known manufacturer of theatre lighting boards, grandMA, were one of the first companies to release boards with pop-up display screens. After the first production run, it became clear that no-one could figure out that these displays popped up and swiveled so they were easy to read. So the next production run was stencilled with the instruction "PUSH TO ERECT" ... once the company realised that this had turned into a major joke among techie-types they actually produced promotional boxerbriefs bearing this printed over the pouch area.. My sort-of-ex used to wear these round the flat ... somehow, although the fit was good, I think the ... crassness ... of the logo made them among the least erotic underwear I've ever seen. And yes, I do have a pair of these, which I've never worn.

True as that all is......

In the world of rent boys romance in an alley is rarely a part of the equasion.......

Get to it, get paid and move on to the next trick..... Twelve to fifteen turns around the post per night doesnt allow for alot if sweet talk and cuddling.

To dally about taunted a night in the toombs.....

Not at all something a sixteen year old would ever look forward to.....

I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone in thinking of lack of underwear as a turn-off!

I've never got so far as undressing someone, but I happen to think that a person in well-fitting underwear looks better than someone without any at all. Maybe it leaves more to the imagination. Maybe I'm just fucked up.

There's also the question of hygiene -- I don't wash my jeans every day, but I have clean underwear every day. Either I would have to start washing my jeans daily, or compromise my hygiene standards. I don't really want to do either. Nor would I want to have to think about how other people dealt with it.

I also take Brian's point that lack of underwear implies promiscuity, though it wouldn't really have occurred to me. I hope I would have picked up plenty of signals already if a person I was preparing to get naked with was just out for sex. If I knew he wasn't, then I don't think it would make a major difference to me, except for the reasons noted above.

David

I dont have to answer for how I feel about girls. Most are just as bad as the stupid Jocks they hange out with or the men they date. If you like girls thats great go for it. By the way girls who dont wear underware hange out in bars, get drunk. and act like sluts.

How the hell did we get from underware being inside out, and what I think about girls. A female without underware is or appears to be a slut. Trust me you should meet some of my moms friends. The breeders in the world can just leave me be and I will happily go on my way.

Odd, things, girls.

They appear to like best the boys who treat them worst. My son's been chasing them for years. He is a perfect gent, so they treat him like a brother and still hang out with the extreme macho types.

I married one, but I don't understand them at all. But I do like them. They're fun to flirt with, and make good company. Except the airheads, but I don't like airhead guys much either.

Girls between 9 and about 20 are weird, though. I think it must be the rotten kick in of hormones they get. OPne day really nice, the next really weird. I reckon they get a rougher ride than we do through puberty, coz they come out the other side pretty much as ok as we do. And the nice ones are nice and the nasty remain nasty.

I like them, don't want sex with them, find them great company, and really good friends.

They are still odd, though Smile (with apologies to my good friends who just happen to have female attributes)

I am thinking that I would have been envious of two sets of people here:

The jocks, because someone could be attracted to them and show it

The girls, because a boy could be attracted to them and show it

Adding relatives who do not meet ine's own higher standards into the equation do make females difficult to like as a gender, if that is what one sees most of the time.
