First person and only the first to spot it of I don't get there first, just post without text "SPAM" as a reply to it. You can use the ! I've marked this with, too, if you like.

Right-o. I'll keep an eye out.

The one that appeared earlier looked to me like it was spam, though I didn't label it as such (except to ask what the spam links were for -- not having seen a spam message like that before) because I was not sure if the nickname was one used by a board regular (or irregular).

However, IIRC, it was posted by a guest. I guess we should be less inclined to give guests the benefit of the doubt.

Posts like this are intended to create search engine optimisation because they are links to a website. Google says "Ah, you have a link" and uprates your score. It is something often done on dead messageboards. They get used as link farms.
