How lovely that after a drought of more than three years a beautiful shower has come to IOMFATS at long last.
The paradox has often been noted that the United States, founded in secularism, is now the most religiose country in Christendom, while England, with an established church headed by its constitutional monarch, is among the least. (Richard Dawkins, 2006)
I am sure there is some sort of veiled insult here.....
When I have more time I shall try to ferret it out.....
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Marc, I am going to give you the benefit of my doubt and assume that you truly did not understand the purpose and meaning of my original post in this thread. (I do so because if I think otherwise my thoughts would reflect very badly on you.)
Those of us who are privileged to know Timmy (and you, Marc, are certainly one of them!) must be aware that he has passed through a long period in which his muse lay dormant however much he wanted it to be otherwise. Therefore, it was a most pleasant surprise for me to find that Timmy had finally managed to overcome his "writer's block" and offer us a new short story: http://iomfats.org/storyshelf/iomfats/shortstories/two-burgers.html
Now that you know what my intention was, Marc, I am sure that you will join me in congratulating Timmy - both on the end of the 'drought' and on a delightful short story that the 'rain' produced.

But not all of "us" that know Tim pay close attention to his writing schedual.
