At some point during this weekend we will be migrating from our old server to a new server.

This means:
  • The forum will be turned off on the current server. No reading no posting
  • Email for iomfats.org accounts will be turned off. Nothing will be lost, and email will arrive on the new server in due course
  • Email subscriptions to the email list MAY be lost, but we will try to ensure this does not happen

With a following wind this should be uneventful. You will know when we are on the new server because the forum will be open for business again. The old server will simply show that the forum is closed. You MAY need to use "ctrl and Refresh" if you are behind persistent cache.

Once we start to cut across the process takes 48 hours to synbchronise around the world. So some of you may see the new site almost at once. Others will see the old site for ages. We have no control over this.

All is being prepared, the new server is being loaded and configured, and we're, well, megaman, is, just dooing the last thikngs before we cut over.

It doesn't mean you have to stop posting until it happens Smile
