Thanks a lot from not very far from the arctic circle!
Did your mother ever tell you what a gentle and considerate fellow you are?

... in the Southern Hemisphere the Sun goes around anti-clockwise, so it logically follows that our antipodean cousins are naturally evil ... !
For a' that an' a' that,
It's comin' yet for a' that,
That man tae man, the worrld o'er
Shall brithers be, for a' that.

The sun doesn't go around anti-clockwise. It appears to, but actually it stays still while the earth turns. Therefore - we Antipodeans are going clockwise and you lot are going anti-clockwise - or widdershins.
"Fancy riding widdershins? Pure witchcraft."

Exactly what I expected!
Turning every argument upside-down!
Well, Cossie, I can't get much further away from him, can I?

Jedediah, this is a picture I took last summer of the sun setting in a bank of fog off the coast. It was in late July, a couple of hours before midnight.

... I still think we should quietly ignore him. I mean, how can you trust a nation that keeps large and ugly insects in its firewood piles?

You mean, they keep them, like dogs and sheep? They eat them, too, you think? Or is it the other way round, as with most things down there?

I've never eaten a weta in my life, though i know some pple who have. Wetas are harmless things really, just creepy.
There's nothing out there in our landscape trying to eat you - that's Australia where EVERYTHING wants to kill you.
Cheers

Well, my dog thinks that sheep are the most dangerous creatures on earth.
