I've just got back from my holiday in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Although we bunch them together as the Baltic states they arein fact very different.
Lithuanian boys are the most attractive. 90% of them are interesting, good-looking and outgoing, always with a smile on their face. They are extremely slim and if you like bubble butts, don't go there.
Most of the Latvian boys seemed 'ordinary' to me. Some stood out in the crowd, but formed a definite minority.
Estonians are a different tribe (if I say 'race' I'm going to get the PC brigade on my back). They are hunky without being fat, many with blond hair and at this time of year a fair tanned skin, if that is possible. They are closely related to the Finns.
One of the nicest experiences was while having dinner in a restaurant in Tallinn. A group of eight healthy looking boys, all blond bombshells, descended on the table next to us. They looked like brothers. They were such a happy bunch and spent the whole of their meal laughing and enjoying themselves. Although they were lively and noisy when not eating, they didn't inconvenience anyone. After they'd gone I asked the waitress if they were a family. She said no and explained that they were members of a sports club visiting from Finnland. One of the highlights of my holiday except that my dinner got cold because my attention was diverted.
There were other more intellectual attractions during the holiday.

I dream of boys with big bulges in their trousers,
Never of girls with big bulges in their blouses.

…and look forward to meeting you in Cóito.

Here, intelectual attractions refers to the fact that no one got laid.....

I assume it means the same there too.....

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...
I guess they must have trouble sitting down …  [message #33273 is a reply to message #33267] Sat, 01 July 2006 01:11 Go to previous messageGo to next message

... unless, of course, you are using the word 'butt' in its correct British sense, to indicate that Lithuanian boys have nowhere to practice archery?

Not sure why Latvia is so lacking in masculine beauty, but I gather that Lithuania has much the highest proportion of ethnic Russians. They certainly can be cute, though looking back at leading Russian politicians I see no prevalence of slim hips!

There are quite a number of ethnic Estonians in the North-East, most of whom are third or fourth generation immigrants, wholly absorbed into the local culture. They still fit your description, but mere mortals like me treat them with considerable awe. I always was a coward!

For a' that an' a' that,
It's comin' yet for a' that,
That man tae man, the worrld o'er
Shall brithers be, for a' that.

In all three countries it was easy to spot the ethnic Russians and this was backed up once they opened their mouths.
By other intellectual attractions I meant there were other interesting things to see and do apart from boy-watching.
