It used to be me. I played percussion at my prep (junior) school, and a bit at my next school, for years and years.

No matter how complicated the rhythms get, or frenetically you have to switch from instrument to instrument, you're still "just" the person who plays the tambourine (or triangle, or snare drum, or bass drum, or timpani, depending on which one they remember first).

Which leads me to names appropriate for their instruments. I have known (of) the following:

Sawbridge: Violin, possibly cello
Polkinghorn: Brass, trombone I think
Wakiwaka: Drums

I'm sure there are more. Dammit they rushed out of my mind when I started this. I must have oldtimers' disease

Other oddly appropriate names - my dentists have included a Mr Rough and Mr Askew.
