I had a note from him this morning. He is safe currently, not in any huge danger of attack on his location, though it is posisble. He is helping with those who are fleeing the rocket barrages. he will not be online much because he is busy.

The gallows humour in me says that this is a lot of expense and fuss just to try to stop a gay pride parade in Jerusalem.

My best wishes to JFR. I hope he continues to be safe and that the conflict is resolved soon.

Seems he is heading north to go help the people in the line of fire. I think he's nuts, but he has to do what he has to do.

it's good to hear about others who are safe...
a girl whom i love, dearly, lives in petah tikva (sp?) and thus far she's been safe, but she has family up in the north she's yet to hear from, and 2 brothers-in-law who are in the army, there, and she's not heard from them either (but likely, will not).

i hope that they, and JFR (and anyone else) will remain safe. i wonder, will the US go to israel's aid? or are we too busy doing pretty much nothing in iraq?

Heard from him very briefly this morning. Back home for a rest, and quite exhausted. I suspect he will be adding his active help again later.
