Indeed -- hope you're okay, Cossie!

By the way, do you ever come down to the Home Counties? I believe it is actually possible to get Scotch down here as well as oop North...

.... but if you were to offer a CASE of malt, I might just be tempted!

Actually, I was ill for two or three days (withdrawal symptoms as I tried to cut down on the malt!) and this was immediately followed by an even more grievous illness affecting my computer hardware. However, the application of several oodles of tender loving care by my wife (to me!) and by me (to my computer!) appears to have resolved the problems. You don't get rid of me so easily!!!

Deeej, until early 2004 I was in London (and other such strange and foreign places) two or three times a month, but nowadays my visits are much less frequent, though I do risk the journey from time to time. (Well, it IS a risk - we Scots are very susceptible to heatstroke when the temperature rises above 60F - especially if it stops raining!). Why do you ask?

.... but national security prevents me from answering that question. By the way, don't you find that English sounds very cute spoken in a Russian accent?

I was beginning to wonder if you had gone into hiding, or worse, been taken prisoner, in the old monastery of Lindisfarne, and that we would have to dispatch another squad of ferocious vikings, to free you and go berserk in the big shopping centres and other places of modern worship.

Good to see you!

Remember, computers usually won't work after they have been immersed in whisky! That's perfectly normal.
