He is unwell, we hope not seriously. He has long had a weak heart, and currently it is not appearing to send enough oxygem round to let him be active. Even sitting at the computer tires him out.

He has asked me to send his love here, and to post this to explain why he is not emailing or posting.

His doctors are looking at him quite carefully.

Dear All,

I've had a lovely email from JFR. He is still waiting to get an appointment with a cardiologist; in the meantime he is finding it impossible to function normally, and tiring even to use the computer.

He has asked me to post a message in his name to thank everyone most sincerely for the messages he has received. He tries to visit the board from time to time, but can't necessarily follow all of the threads or reply individually to posts, or be sure of being able to reply to replies.

I will post if I hear any more news; in the meantime I think JFR needs our support more than ever.

Best wishes,

David

I hope JFR is feeling better and minding the doctors. I know how hard it is to sit quietly when there's so much he feels he needs to be doing.

Take care, be safe and feel stronger!
