Just stopping in to say hello! It's been so long.
Things with me are well with me. College life is wonderful and I am confident in saying this is the most secure and comfortable I've ever felt in life.
Hope Timmy and the lot of you are all well.

Tom, how lovely to hear from you again. Please stay around. Maybe you can organise another "talent" contest for us . Timmy's on vacation at the moment. I'm very pleased to hear that things are working out for you.

Josh. your rents cant stop you. If you want to go to college there are a ton of government programs that can see that you go. check them out and go for it. Remember, your your own man and its your life, your rents cant live it for you.

Hi Josh,
I agree with Brian absolutely.
Getting to university or college is a tricky business (and isn't suited to everyone) but if there's a programme you'd be interested in enrolling on, get a prospectus, try and visit the college, and see if you can arrange something independently of your parents. Now you're 18, it's very possible.
Otherwise, you can always go to college (I assume? You certainly can in the UK) in a few years if you'd be better suited to it then. When I left school at 18 I was still pretty childish. Working in the 'real world' for a couple of years before going back to university was a really good way of focusing on what I wanted to achieve.

Hi Tom,
I'll echo Josh and say hello. I think you must have posted fairly regularly before I came here, as I don't think we've met. I've been a regular here (for better or worse) for a year and a half or so (though lurked for ages).
I'm glad things are going well. Good luck with your studies and life in general.

Brian is absolutely right. It's your life and it's up to you to fulfill your dreams and ambitions. And if you are not so sure, Deeej is right that doing something else for a year or two can clear up your mind.
Good luck! !

Hi, Tom!
I've been here for a year or so, and it's good to hear from you.
Your story reminds me of my own years in college, very good years, and a long time ago!
Best wishes!
