You have no concept of how many emails I have battled my way through today! NEVER go on vacation!
I have discovered that what I think of as cute and the Spanish face and body type are not congruent. I have never seen so many unappealing peole of both genders and all ages as I did in Islantilla, near Huelva, in Southern Andalucia. Cute was a rarity. I saw two cute Spanish boys and one cute girl aming several thousand spaniards.
One boy was a self confident lad, seemingly the leader of the group of kids round him. Smiling, confident, and standing four square. He was good looking and will probably retain his looks to adulthood. He reminded me of the boys I always wanted to be friends with as a kid, or the boy I wanted to be. He was maybe 10 or 11. He will break some hearts in time. Right now he looked like someone who would make a great nephew.
One was the kid who excelled in the breaking waves at the beach. Slim, bright eyes, not handsome really, but a winning face. Sunbathing he seemed about 16, at rest he was probably 13.
And the girl was the only one with a pretty face and a slim body! I fear she was 12/13 too. But, if she keeps her figure she will break some hearts.
But so few! So few. Must be that tribal thing.

Oh my....... NEVER go to Spain if you are looking for cute pickups.....
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

The English, the English, the English are best;
I wouldn't give tuppence for all of the rest.

You quote:
"The Scotsman is mean, as we're all well aware
And bony and blotchy and covered with hair
He eats salty porridge, he works all the day
And he hasn't got bishops to show him the way!"
... and expect me NOT TO TAKE IT PERSONALLY? Ye wee Sassenach scunner, ye! I'll hae yer guts for a haggis an' yer heid for a fitba!
We Scots are in fact extremely generous, except to Englishmen (especially Southerners!), who are simply unworthy of our attention. I am NOT bony (in fact I rather wish my bones were less well concealed), and I have NEVER been covered in hair - nor have I ever been attracted to anyone who WAS hairy. Ugh! I haven't eaten porridge for decades, and when I did I had it with sugar and milk. I have always made a point of working as little as possible. And the Archbishop of St. Andrews, Bishop of Glasgow et al will be seriously upset to find that they don't exist!
Such scurrilous untruths could only be the product of a twisted Southern Englishman. As John Betjeman said -
"Come, friendly bombs, and fall on Slough;
It isn't fit for humans, now."
But, of course, Slough is entirely typical of the English South-East!
Right, I'm off to tear up some English flags, while singing along to a tape of 'The Flower of Scotland'. So there!
For a' that an' a' that,
It's comin' yet for a' that,
That man tae man, the worrld o'er
Shall brithers be, for a' that.
