Over the last month we have been suffering through blistering heat and it has caused many problems with our computers here at home....

Three got so overheated that the motherboards actually had melt downs....

Our friend Rick (who takes care of the hardware portion of our business) got a bad burn on his fingertips after trying to remove a heat sink/fan combo from one of the machines....

As a result we have had to rethink our floor plan and have reconfigured 5 rooms in the house in order to build a clean/cold room to house the computers....

Anyhoo..... We got 2 of the down machines up and running and still have to replace the two that have bad motherboards.... Luckily though, Kevy has a friend at his UNI that administers the computer lab and has an inside track on P4 computers which the school is replacing.... YAY.... We are hoping to purchace ten or fifteen machines so we can again have something to fall back on in case of another fiasco like we had last month....

We are bouncing back from the financial disaster of last Spring slowly and it is no longer a major source of acid reflux.....

I took Kevy out for his anniversary (we just had our 5 year) pressy today.... I got him a new flat panel monitor he has been oogeling over for the past 8 months.... He is like a little kid sometimes.... he couldn't wait to get in the door before he had the box open and got the monitor all hooked up....

This is the first day I have not had a major headache in 3 weeks.... I made the mistake of going to the basement without wearing a face mask.... HUGE MISTAKE.... I ended up with a massive sinus infection and all the pleasure that entails....

Kevy is begining his Fall semister at Bowling Green SU and is all dressed up and ready to go.... He looks so cute with his book bag and all....

Oh well, such as it is in a rather good day in the life....


Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...
