Josh we need to know which day. Because your day is yesterday to us and our day is tomorrow to you. Hope this doesn't confuse you.
Today here is going really well. It will probably get even better when Deeej goes to bed.
Glad to hear your day is good too.

Aussie,
Why does it matter what day it is?
Tuesday's just coming to an end in America. It ended a couple of hours ago in Europe. You can probably look at the time zones and work out which day Josh is talking about -- I did! It's just something you need to put up with on the internet.
America won't reach your 'day' (Wednesday) for another 15 hours or so. So it is unlikely that Josh is talking about that, considering it's not even happened yet, and even you aren't very far into it either.

Hi Josh,
I'm glad to hear you had a good day. Good night!

I'm talking about days in terms of waking hours. It's already Wednesday here, but I would still be inclined to call it Tuesday night to prevent confusion. When I wake tomorrow it will be Wednesday. It's still 12 hours or so before you'd be likely to say, "I'm having a great day," and mean Wednesday.

... I think Aussie was joking. Now I do realise that that is a surprising accomplishment for an antipodean, and I am suitably awed, but I'm pretty certain it was a joke!
By the way, don't you think it's ironic that Australia can be several hours ahead of us on the clock, whilst lagging several decades behind us in every other way? In fact, if we use Mel Gibson as a yardstick, the gap may be as much as two or three centuries.

Tut tut, these days they are either called 'radio presenters' or 'tuxedos' in America.

Pick on Deeej day? Fair enough, provided you can schedule one for when Australia and the rest of the world can agree what day it is. I would take serious exception to 'Pick on Deeej' 48 hours...
Luckily it will be a cold night in the Royal Holloway Founder's Building before that happens.
