can i firstly say im sorry for what ive done to you....
-flashback- this is just like last time...
oh, and im only typing this from my head, as in im not saying it out loud.
im really sorry.... what can i say to make things better?
well, ok, i probably know what to say, but im not willing to say it....
i still love you, and i mean it. like i told you, when i love someone, its forever, and thats the same with you.
heres the thing...
im.. not really sure if i can say i love you... right now..
there is no compitition. everyone i love, i love equally, and your not inferior to anyone. nor are you superior to anyone.
i cant say what your thinking... unfortunately.
i think for me, thers only one type of relationship, and that is frienship. and i can think of a few other ones that dont apply to me, but i wont list them.
you may be reading this and think im lying or something (not assuming anything there.) im not lying. im getting my thoughts straightened out...
im not saying goodbye to you or anything, im just saying that i cant really love you. that may be horrible for me to say, but its the truth...
anyway, i hope you reply to this, and im sorry...

... I can't pretend to get inside your head, but you do need to stand back and try to look at the situation a bit more objectively.
A few days ago, you were describing yourself as Jay's boyfriend. Now you are saying that you don't love him more than anyone else. Those two concepts can't be reconciled, and because of that Jay has been very badly hurt. You made Jay very happy, and now you've taken that happiness away.
You are you. Your life is yours alone. But when YOU choose to interact with someone else, you take on obligations. You haven't been fair to Jay, and you need to put that right. If you don't want to be Jay's boyfriend, no-one can make you - but you need to give him a better explanation of your reasons. And you need to stand by him while he gets to grips with the situation.
I hope that you can find a solution, but you need to know that you have been cruel to Jay - and he didn't deserve that.
