I might possibly be the least-qualified person on this message board to respond to this statement, given my sardonic history, but I'm going to lay bare my thoughts here. Take them or leave them, I just didn't want this post to go unresponded-to.
My first instinct when I read this post was, "Jesus, could you be any more of an attention whore?" I did not for a second take the not-so-veiled threat seriously. To be fair though, I had not read every thread in its entirety. I still haven't, but I've read enough of them now to have a sense of what engendered this one.
I have not been Marc's biggest supporter in the past; I'm well aware of this fact. But I do believe that on this occasion I'm going to step up and say that the populace may have been a bit harsh on him. Considering Jay is not yet in a program, and I don't believe Marc knows any information about him anyway, it's not as if he could follow through on his threat, if it had been real, which I doubt. I do think Marc was saying it somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but if I'm wrong, I'm wrong.
That said, it boils down to one of two things: Marc, either this is a call for attention, or you're serious. Both aren't particularly great. One is entirely inappropriate and the other requires serious help. So I do hope you're not just toying with us, but I do also hope you're not even remotely serious. Damned if you did, damned if you didn't.
Don't fuck with us, Marc, what's going on?
