Getting started

I may have spawned a lot of unintentional worry here.

The post I posted for Brian, was specifically for him. It was gesture of my love for him.

Now, I understand that this is a public message board and I will refrain from posting (to Brian) in future.

More importantly, Brian is very much okay.

Last I heard he was taking a road trip.

So please do not worry.

Strong Mountain, thank you for posting back. I am very relieved, and I have no doubt that everyone else will be as well.

Please never feel afraid of posting a message for anyone. It is one of the things this board is for Smile

Strong Mountain, thanks for telling us that Brian is okay! I don't know if you have any idea how relieved I am. If you are Brian's sincere friend then you are my, and our, friend, too. Smile

It is good to hear, and welcome to the site.

So say what you want
(You know I'm wasting all my time)
You've gotta mean it when you say what you want
(You're only safe when you're alone)
And everybody's on your mind
Saying anything to get you by

Thanks for reassuring us that Brian is OK. He's a rather special guy to several of our regular posters, and this messageboard is a very special place to him - if he hasn't already, he'll tell you all about it when you make contact again. You'll see from the post I'll make in a few minutes on another thread that I didn't have any means of contacting anyone who might know whether anything was wrong.

He does have some health problems, and it's only a few weeks since he was hurt when his mom's car lost an argument with a tree - so the tear in your original post was worrying! But for that, I'd have waited another week before starting to get agitated.

Of course you're welcome to post here - as you've already been told, any friend of Brian's is a friend ouf ours!

By the way, I can't help being curious about your chosen identity. For some reason (I have a weird sense of humour!), Strong Mountain conjures up a vision of the Hulk in technicolor green! That can't be right, though - I'm sure the Hulk's not Brian's type!

For a' that an' a' that,
It's comin' yet for a' that,
That man tae man, the worrld o'er
Shall brithers be, for a' that.
