I find myself wanting to contribute but with much inner thought as well as tourmoil I find I can not.

I am afrade of saying the wrong thing. I am afrade of saying the right thing and have it misinterpreted.

I can't do this.....

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

the thing to do is to do two things:

One is to dip your toe in as gently as you have just done

The other is to make your posts more wordy, adding to the core message with enhancements to make it clear that you mean what you mean

Look Marc, I’ve seen you participate and not cause any turmoil. One of the reasons I have been posting here is to try to improve my ability to express myself in the written word, even though I have done more to show my own ass, and in the process gotten it shot off a couple of times. I’m still coming back, despite the risk.

Let me repeat something from a song I quoted a while back. “It’s easier to try than to prove it can’t be done”

Hugs

I’m sooo tired I need to get to bed. Enjoy the freedom of the day everyone.

They'll tell you where to go
But till you get there yourself you never really know

Other's just come to harm

Marc,

I think it's extremely creditable to you that you've created this thread. It would be my opinion that whatever you say, provided you justify yourself and signal that there is no malicious intent -- as you have just done -- it would be difficult to be misinterpreted. If people are unsure what you mean they can ask for clarification.

Best wishes,

David

You have so much experience, which is better than the theory-crafting a lot of the rest of us engage in!

Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

Mark just go for it,but remember some people can not talk as bluntly as you do.
But people should like you for having an opinion.
