Dreams.
Futures.
Possbiliities.
Each the same,
When it rains
On your mind,
Searching behind.
Dark and misty,
Is the night,
Where you are all,
Waiting for flight.
Lets fly together, says the boy,
Pulling at your sweater collar,
Smile on his face, gentle and innocent,
He only wants to see the sky,
in all its glorious colours, for the night.
You cant esist, so you let him be,
Flying through the clouds,
Dreaming something you'll never know.
So you ask him, one day soon.
Gentle birds fly near the fountain,
And he says to you,
Innocent and true,.
I was dreaming of the skies.
Simple and true,
Yet ever so distant,
Almost fading.
Growing up is never easy,
Even for someone like me.
No family to call my own,
Speaking as if I wasnt young.
A transformation begins,
and I have awakened.
Life, Love, such things are nice,
yet, what I really want.. is..
I turn around, hearing the voice again in my head.
Too late the time has passed, and all that was, is all thats left.
And so I say, to you asks,
I was dreaming of the family, I'll never have.
Homeless, frail, yet curious am I.
Simple, pure, full of a life I need to live.
Eager to learn, eager to fly,
With my family, trough the skies...
Dont let me fall..

Glad you are back again Josh after a bit of a break.
Another nice poem again that conjures up a lot of images.

Hey Aussie.
Its nice to see you again.
I'm not having problems with my family.
Funny thing about writing.
When I was writing this, it was like I was in a sort of mindset of a little boy, who wants some fun in his life. And I sort of lose sight of reality as I write, about anything. It's also, sometimes, like I can hear someone talking to me, telling me to write what it is that I write. I dont talk while I write, so maybe its a mind thing. lol.

Well I'm glad you are not having problems.
Thanks for sharing how the writing comes to you .
It is OK to hear voices telling you what to write and it is great that you do write it down. It is quite likely that if you didn't you wouldn't remember it after a few minutes.
