I live in Colorado, yet today it was a 102 (record high) and it isn't even summer yet!!....it feels like I am living back in Phoenix.
It is soooo dry here right now, that there are fires burning every where.......today alone all most 2 dozen grass fires started...which they have all been put out....after getting VERY close to some houses.
Colorado is in a middle of a drought....the worst drought in 50 years......more then likely by next week we will be on water restrictions.....parts of the city already are.
I tell you, the year 2002 hasn't been a very good year...can't wait till it is over!!!

of hell down here in Florida. 99* today.I can
sympathize. The grass is all dead and the
trees will soon follow. The ponds are all dried up
and the river is a trickle. The big cities are
pumping water from the aquifer that runs down
the center of the state and the small counties
are suffering. We live out in the country and
last summer our well went dry because of the
pumping. We now have a well that brings up
Chinese water haha.
And I understand that we have another El Nino
to look forward to this summer. Hot heavy winds
and drought, then such heavy rains you can't
find your way down the roads.
But don't rush 2002........something good is
bound to happen. Good luck and stay cool.

another major fire broke out today.....many homes are in danger!
I hope something better comes out of 2002.......it did not start out good at all. My sister died in January.....no life insurance!!....the funeral cost over $10,000...bill colectors keep calling...for bills she had before she died. A few months later my mom found out that she needs major dental and jaw work done on her....which is going to cost about $17,000. I was in a wreck just over a month ago...so now I get to go to the chiroprator (sp?) everyday!!.....which causes me to loose an hour of work a day.......then just some other BS that I am having to put up with. I just keep hoping things will get better!!!
