I'm trying to come up with a pseudonym for myself, for a sound credit on an obscure film. I don't want to use my real name because I would like my professional name to remain picture-only, not sound.
I've got a surname, but I can't think of a first name yet.
I've noticed that most of the names I rather like are the names of boys I've been attracted to in the past. I'd never really thought about that before. When/if I have a son, he'll probably have the same name as someone I fancied at school.

Marc....
what else?
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Wayne and Jade come to mind.
I knew two boys called Tracey and Shelley; and Shelley's parents certainly didn't have a sense of humour.

I always liked Jason, until it became common, but the boy who was on the Brighton College sailing team back in 1969/70 was gorgeous. Jeremy is less common nowadays and has appeal. Charlie (not Charles) suits many people who don't have it as a name.

I like Jeremy. I knew a good-looking Jeremy. I've never met any Jasons, except for the one who posts on this board.
I think the shortlist so far is: Alexander, Jamie, Adam, Jacob. Not Patrick, probably. Timmy, I challenge you to put surnames to those first names.

Brendan, Caleb, Conrad, Colin, Eden, Ethan, Gabriel, Hiram, Ira, Luke, Micah, Nathan, Calvin, Davin, Gaige, Greyson, Henri, Malik
I tried to choose names that weren't overly popular but not totally obscure (like Nehemiah).
I seem to also favor names of people I have been attracted to or, to a lesser extent, just people that I have had positive interactions with.

Jason has the advantage of a classical background.
I like Josh(ua). I have only known good-looking and attractive Joshuas.
As with other posters I associate names I like with boys I have been attracted to.
