Nope....... nothing in weeks....

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

I last heard from him almost a month ago, when he assured me that he was exhausted but otherwise okay, and that he would be posting again shortly. I'm not sure what's happened since -- I hope we'll hear from him soon!

It seems to me that there are two people who would know of Cossie and his safety. One is Sailor, whom I met with Deej and Cossie, the other is "Brian", who reads the board, of course.

If anyone knows, please would they get in touch with me?

Sailor is, of course, travelling at present, on an extended trip. Brian emailed me to let me know that, and also that Cossie is not currently responding to emails, and that he is also concerned.

Sorry, people, to have caused concern.

I was out of synch for a few days after my trip to sunny Surrey, but just as I was returning to what in my case passes for normal I fell victim to a viral infection. In itself, it was nothing much, but complications arose and I ended up in hospital for a few days. I'm back at home and improving steadily but I'm pretty much exhausted and I haven't been on line for quite a while. I only checked the site tonight after Deeej left a telephone message (I was snoring peacefully when he rang!). I do intend to resume my favourite occupation of spreading havoc and confusion, but it may be two or three weeks before I feel up to doing so. Thinking of new ways to insult Australians can be pretty tiring!

Meanwhile, thanks to those who have e-mailed me or otherwise expressed concern - I promise I'll get back to you soon.

To cancel Interflora.
Seriously a very big welcome back and I hope you recover quickly.
Don't even think about thinking up ways to insult Australians either it may be too taxing in your condition. Perhaps you could work on the Kiwis though.
Anyway, nice to hear from you

Aussie

Dear Cossie,

Welcome back!
How good to see you again, and that you are better!

Some of us have been planning to travel up north, finding your house and go banging on your front door! Sadly, we missed that opportunity now,.. but next time you sneak off like this we'll collect all the foxhounds now out of work and let them track you down, all the way to your Speyside destillery.

It's lovely to hear from you again. I hope that the telephone call wasn't too presumptuous!

My best wishes for a quick recovery --

David

The real problem is obviously an allergy to the southern climes. Good to hear you are back on your feet.

Welcome back. Try and stay healthy for a while, friend. (It gets worse as you get older.)
