kind of random for here, but I really enjoyed the article and thought others here would enjoy it.

Wow, it certainly makes me wonder how I would have reacted if I had been one of the passersby. Would I have recognized the man's brilliance or would I have been too consumed buying lottery tickets? I like to believe I have an ear for music even though the only musical instrument I have ever mastered is the radio. Still, I can tune it in without a pitch pipe.

A few years ago my son busked with his clarinet on the bridge between Eton and Windsor. He made about the same rate of money, but clarinet is harder as an endurance instrument than the violin, and he could only play 2 35 minute sets without his lips "going".

He refused to try it with his violin, though, and the piano is too darned heavy.

Regret that there is something up with this link. It won't come up, but just makes my browser (Safari) quit. When I get five minutes I'll try it on Firefox.

It has some imbedded video files. Perhaps they had some wonky code that Safari didn't like.

I used Firefox.

Duh! He's the man who owns the company that makes my mice. Quite nice mice too. Not sure if he makes anything else, though ...

I didn't know that the man called Gates - whom everyone hates - made my Logitech mouse. Are there other mice, too? Razz

You might not like Gates but his mice work pretty good. There is another maker of mice, its Kinsington. They have really good track ball mice.

Hasn't 'Mickey' been around for a long time? Maybe it's a wheel mouse?
