Based on a popular, new, American quiz show in which adults answer questions from text books for 10 year-olds'. Six of the questions are based on American history or geography so you British chaps are under a handicap to begin with. I would give you my score but I am ashamed!

Well, I spoze that I qualify as a Brit (more or less) and I got 84%. Now I have to decide whether or not I want to be a 5th grader in an American school.

The paradox has often been noted that the United States, founded in secularism, is now the most religiose country in Christendom, while England, with an established church headed by its constitutional monarch, is among the least. (Richard Dawkins, 2006)

73%, but to my shame I misread 2 questions. I'll give it a go later in the day when my eyes are properly open.

handicap???

95% i confess my knowledge of the great lakes is not what it should be, and i had to really think about the yard sticks, since we don't use such old fashioned measurements here

other than that though, pretty simple...

All easy questions...

got 100...

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

I got 100% of the questions too but only 57% of the answers.
But then it was slanted towards US 5th graders.

ONE of my all-time heroes is Diogenes the Cynic. What most people know about Diogenes is that he wandered around ancient Greece carrying a lantern and searching for an honest man. I don't believe you need to fear the light of his lantern falling upon your face Aussie. You are an honest man.

Although I was once a fifth grader myself, I was never a terribly bright one. But at least you have a different educational background as an excuse - I have no excuse. You and I scored the same!

Oh, by the way - I am still the same jealous brat I was then! No disrespect to Marc. Smile

You sink in if you stop moving. It "solidifies" on impact.
