Thanks Aussie. I figured you probably talked to him. Just wanted to know he was ok.

Ok, so this is whats was up. Yesterday on my day off I had a few things that I need to do for work (store to store transfers). When I got in a csa said that i need to go find the asst store manger. I was like why, she said rember that guy you thought was stealing a cd and you confroted, I was like yeah what about it. well he call up and want to talk to a manger. so i was like thats kool i dont think i did any thing wrong I had mangers approvel to question him. besides the kid worked in theh mall his manger was there when i questioned him. so i go find the asst manger and asked her whats up. she told me he want to know what they where going to do with me, and want a public appoligy and he stated that the words law suit and that when the conversation end between him and her. btw thats a 1/2 million dollar law suit minnumal. so i told her what i did gave a statement. she like well we have to get hr in this and I can no longer talk to you about it. till hr desices how they will handle this. ps she is a bitch. so i asked do i need to call a lawer. she like no if you get sued the company will give you a lawer. so I called the store director which me and him are close. he was like dont worry I fight for you but theres no garentees. and he leveled with me he said only my head is above the water. he said i shold go over and appoligys which i was going to do any way. cuz if it was me i would mad. long story short hr called to day and i still have my job but i got to do some one on one training with the store director.

by the way the guy was cute.

So Jay, was the guy stealing? Do you have to apologize to someone who stole from your company? That wouldn't seem fair. Now, if he gives you a date then it might even things out! Smile

How ... bizarre.

If someone is behaving suspiciously it's perfectly fine to challenge them. I don't understand how a challenge -- even an erroneous one -- could be worth more than (in the most extreme case) a few pounds of someone's time.

Good luck, Jason.
