Will I love?
Will I know freedom from this loneliness?
Will you protect me?
Will you dispise me and hate me?

Will your soul be bitter like my mom's?
Will you light up my life like a glowing flame?
Will you speak the words that calmn me?
Will you speak the words that degrade me?

I want to love and be loved.
I want you to hold me and comfort me.
I need you to be the one I hook my star to.
I want to live in your universe.

Share my love.
Share my life.
Dont let me drown in my self hate.
Be my star.

I like that....

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Thanks Marc, I wrote that when I was 16.

I thought as much Roger. It is full of teenage angst. We all cried out for love and acceptance at that age.

It's a beautiful poem, Roger, capturing the sentiments of those days.
Sometimes those feelings seem to return at our age, too.

My dear friend. Sometimes they dig up old memories that should be left buried.

Thank you Josh. Just wanted to show that no mater how many years pass, what gay boys feel, what their wants and desires are never changes. One day things will be different and the loneliness and fear will be gone. Then, we wont have anything to write poems about.;-D
