NW, Deej, Nick and I met JFR in London yesterday, for lunch. Cossie, regrettably, was unable to join us as were a couple of non MB friends.
It was a quiet, relaxed lunch in an "All you can eat for £3.50" vegan Indian place in Chapel Market, Islington.
Today I guided JFR around Hampton Court Palace, reprising one of the places Megaman and I visited earlier in the year

I have now returned home. What a wonderful get-together that was for me. I hope the others enjoyed it as much as I did. It is so very meaningful when 'virtual' friends become 'real life' friends. Thank you all for putting up with me and my 'problem'. I look forward to the next time with impatience. Nick, NW, Deeej, Tim: you are wonderful people whom I am proud to call friends.
A very special thank you to Tim for a wonderful visit to Hampton Court. What a pity no one took a piccy of me driving a buggie around the gardens and courtyards!
BTW, the previous day I also met 'Spunky Frog' en route for sunny Italy. He sends greetings to all who remember him from here.
Hugs

PS for Grasshopper: the pix you asked for are on their way.

Well, technically I suppose I'm unemployed (because I'm looking for part-time work at the moment) - I don't really advise it as a long-term career!
However, I do also count as "early-retired", as I have a minuscule disability pension ... probably also not a good career option.

I got the giggles. I guess it was the header ..."there was a meeting" that gave me a mental picture of guys in big, floppy hats and trench-coats! "Pssst ...Timmy sent me!"

I wish I had been there, although I'm not sure I have a suitable trenchcoat.
