Considering the substancial fees charges for internet service I feel that annoying advertisments are a bit much. If you are recieving a revenue from these advertising banners am I entitled to a percentage considering you are using my computer to display them?
It only seems reasonable that if they are using my machine then I am entitled to a portion of their revenues.
I think I shall invoice them.

I'm sure Yahoo receives none of the fees you pay for your internet service. Myself, I think the advertising is a small annoyance if it keeps sites like Yahoo, Google and other free services operating. The only other option would be to pay for their services. And I just couldn't afford it. If you pay for cable or satellite connection for your television, the programs still come with advertising. As long as they don't go overboard with them then I am okay with it because it gives me what I want, at a price I can afford - free.

ATT Yahoo is not a free service. I pay dearly for my ATT Yahoo dsl internet account.
and this is not TV or cable..... it is a business service that I rely on and am interupted constantly by these ads.

It does seem odd that they advertise on a paid service. I'm sure you have, but have you run adaware and/or spybot on your system to be sure the adverts are from the ISP and not some sort of Adware on your machine?
Do their terms and conditions refer to advertising?

Whoops ... didn't know there was such a thing as "ATT" Yahoo. My bad! Now you've got me on your side. I'd sure let the buggers know that there are lots of other broad-band services out there that would like your business. But I'll bet they'll say something like "we couldn't give you such a competitive package without the advertising." Then let them know that their competitors can!
