Everything was good again. Joe was happy, Matt was happy that Joe was happy, everything was alright. There was nothing to be scared of. Life was good again. And dispite the fact that Joe hadn't told Jim where he was going, it didn't really bother him all that much. He figured he would just call him when they got to Matt's house. Nothing wrong with that, right?
Joe couldn't help but smile the whole way from school to Matt's house. He was really excited. He wondered what it would be like in another person's place, as he had never been to another boy's house before.
'We're here Joe,' Matt said as they walked up the front steps. Joe had to walk back, just to get the full view of the house. It was much bigger then his apartment with Jim. Joe was actually a little jealous.
'Well, come on inside. You'll get to meet my parents.' Matt said, smiling.
'Oh, coming.' Joe said.
'Silly boy.' Matt said, taking Joe's hand in his own as they walked in.
Inside, it was very organized and proper. Each room had a different floor- type. The kitchen had marble counters. And all the dishes were put away. The counters the dishes were in were wooden. The nice thing about anything made with wood, Joe thought, was that it was real. Not cheep stuff you can buy at the market.
Matt grabbed Joe's hand again. 'Come on. They're in here.' Matt led Joe to a room with beige paint on the walls. There was a small table, wide in length in the middle of the room. And a couple couches on either side of it, with a loveseat beside it. There was also a fireplace, which in all honesty, was rather beautiful, in the next room. Matt and Joe walked up to his parents and sat down on the couch together.
'Hi mom.' Matt said.
'Hello dear. How was school today?'
School was okay. Math class was boring like always, but writing class was okay.' Matt squeezed Joe's hand gently.
'Who'se your friend?' Matt's father said as he entered the room.
'This is Joe.' Matt said. 'He's in all my classes this term.' Joe blushed slightly.
'Hi..' Joe said, squeezing Matt's hand.
'Hello. Nice to meet you.' Matt's parents said.
'Nice to meet you.' Joe said politely back.
Matt took Joe's hand as they left the room aftet the introductions. He showed Joe the rest of the house, of which Joe was eager to see. It was all quite stunning in Joe's eyes. Joe smiled again.
'Do u like it? My house, I mean.' Matt asked.
'It's all very beautiful.' Joe said pleasantly.
Matt smiled and kissed Joe again. Joe smiled as he accepted it.
'I have to call Jim. He might be worried about me.' Joe said as their lips parted.
'Kay.' Matt said smiling as he handed Joe the phone.
'Hello?'
'Hey Jim. It's Joe.'
'Joe!? Where are you?'
'I'm at Matt's place.'
'Oh. Well you should've told me where you were going after school.'
'I'm sorry.'
'It's alright. Just be sure to tell me next time, okay?'
'Don't worry, I will.' Joe said.
'Kay. Have fun at Matt's.' Jim said smiling.
'I am, its an awesome house.'
'Glad to hear it.
'Talk to you later.'
'Okay.'
And with that, Joe hung up the phone.
'Was he mad at you?'
'He was at first, but when I told him I was at your place, he said have fun.'
'I'm glad.'
Matt pulled Joe into another hug. Joe was happy again. Being with Matt always made him happy. It was nice. before they realized it, the sun was starting to go down. Joe figured it was too late to call Jim, so he politely asked Matt's parents to give him a ride home. They accepted.
Joe and Matt held hands the whole way home. They couldn't hide that ehy liked eachother. It was so obvious. Every few minutes, Joe would start to blush, then Matt would also. It was so cute, seeing them like that. Matt kissed Joe again as they arrived at Joe's apartment. Joe looked at Matt, and wouldn't take his eyes off him as he opened the door to get out. Once shut, Matt put his hand on the window. Joe did the same, whispering 'i love you' to Matt as he left.
Matt was so happy right then. 'I love him.' He said loud enough so his parents could hear him.
'We know Matt. You two couldn't stop staring at eachother the whole way here.' Matt blushed as his mom said that. But it was true, he did love Joe, and Joe loved him. Joe had been happy ever since he saw him at the ice-cream store. And his smile was infectious to Matt. Every time he thought about him, he'd smile, cause he knew Joe would smile at him.
'Hey' Joe said as he saw Jim.
'Hey you. Have fun tonight?'
'Yep. Lots of fun.' Joe smiled as he walked into his apartment for the night. He knew that from then on, everyday would be like that. Matt and him would love eachother, because they did love eachother. Everything was good again, as Joe turned off the light in his room and slept for the night, eager for what tomorrow would bring.

This is the final chapter in my story. I hope you all liked it. I certainly enjoyed writing it. That's what loving someone's all about. Even if you're silent about it, love isn't quite so silent. It's a wonderful feeling to be in love with someone isnt it. The best feeling in the world.
Well, see all you guys later. Loves ya^_^

Hey Josh, for your first story this was very good. It was sweet. maybe you should write a longer on and have some one edit it for you. You might even get Timmy to give you your own place on the story shelf. Ask him, I'm sure he would help. In one way, that's why this place is here. It's such a wonderful place here and you fit into it nicely.
I'm making you another cake, any kind you want ! And this story was nicer than a whole batch of your cookies. I love it.

There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. Washington Irving

We are not as obvious as we think.
My mother never even had an idea I loved another boy, even on the rare times when he was at our home.
Of course I was too scared ever to tell him
