I posted that article on another forum because it upset me so greatly. But then I don't know of anyone that reads it and doesn't get upset. So my questions is, if every American that reads it is upset by it - why isn't anything being done to make changes? The answer, I believe, is that we elect lawyers to governmental offices and they aren't about to clean their own house. There has been a hue and cry for years on putting a cap on civil awards - all to no effect. It's sickening! >Sad

It's amazing that anyone would profit from having that guy as a judge. I guess money wins. It's what makes me want to be rich rather than a politician/ activist. So I can actually have enough power to at least bend the system around me, even if I can't change it entirely.

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
