String of Pearls, for one so fair.
Kept within arms reach, as there
Would not be anywhere to go,
Around your neck, I gently pull.
A necklace around your neck there is.
Keeping you connected to me.
So that I can always see,
The beauty of one so dear to me.
Life is short, or long some say,
Waiting and watching for another day,
to come and give them Freedom with wings,
See how tightly, they hold their ice-cream.
A smile is on all their faces,
Their overjoyed, to have come to this place, and
Despite the fact that they must leave,
They each are happy, while they have their ice-cream.
And when you got home, you cried that night,
It was sad, and so you cried tears of sorrow that night.
Holding tightly to the pillow, and blanket around you,
You pray that one day, You'll be able to help them too.
And so I say, oh String of Pearls,
If love can be caught between the wheels,
of a bike or car, or a smile on ones face,
Is love meant to be embraced?

OMG, I don't know how you know how to put words together to express what some one else feels but you completly have. I don't know which is more beautiful, this poem, or you.
Thank you Josh

There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. Washington Irving
